Interior Changes

Inside the 2025 Kia K5, buyers will discover a new dashboard layout that integrates dual 12.3-inch touchscreens for infotainment and instrumentation into one single panoramic curved display. New driver-assist features such as Smart Cruise Control and Parking Distance Warning complement the more modern look. The console has also been updated with larger cup holders, a wireless charging pad, and USB-C ports. 

The new infotainment system boasts remote control features from the user’s smartphone, over-the-air-updates, wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, a fingerprint authentication system, and streaming services that can be enjoyed through the available 12-speaker premium audio system by KRELL. 

You’ll notice revised temperature controls and a smaller rotary gear selection knob for the automatic transmission. New upholstery color choices in Basic Black, Sand, and Martian Brown allow for more personalization to the cabin of your new K5.

For drivers who prefer a more dramatic look, the optional “Black Fit” package adds a black suede headliner, blacked-out 18- or 19-inch wheels, and blacked-out mirror caps, rear diffuser, and exhaust pipes. 

Power and Performance

The addition of a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine replaces the prior 1.6-liter turbo-four, which has been discontinued for the K5. This mill is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with an output of 191 horsepower plus 181 lb-ft of torque and a revised suspension for improved ride comfort. All trims are standard equipped with front-wheel drive, but the GT model is available with all-wheel drive. The GT variant also features a turbocharged 2.5-liter that churns out up to 290 hp, fatter tires, and larger brakes.
